First Word

Benjamin surprised us one night and went from adorable squeals and what we like to call birdie noises to his first word..."MAMA."
Since that night he likes to use Mama for everything :) while still enjoying all of the new sounds he can make with his tongue, lips, and drool :)

A true artist... :)...finger paints are not limited to baby fingers!

Mr. Benjamin has mastered the art of hand and foot painting so he thought he'd move on to something even more rare and precious...little boy "bum" painting.

Benjamin was all smiles having his rear end painted in three different colors. And now Mommy has forever captured his little kooli butt before he can grow any bigger!

Plus Mommy and Daddy are all smiles admiring his masterpiece...a little "bum" caterpillar we have proudly displayed on the fridge.

*This art project (and these pictures) will definitely be shared as one of his many successes come high school graduation! :)

Benjamin's Baptism

Our beautiful boy was baptized on July 5, 2009 in St. Anthony's Church, Inlet, NY. Surrounded by our wonderful family and dear friends, Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Karen, in a location that is truly special to our family; it was a loving welcome to our faith and the Catholic Church. Mommy and Daddy feel incredibly blessed.

A special thank you to godparents Michael, Anne Marie, and Jim who have agreed to support Benjamin throughout this crazy adventure called life. Benjamin is a lucky little fellow!!
It was a special day for a special boy and we are so thankful for our family who helped us celebrate such a meaningful moment in our lives!

Congratulations Benjamin! We love you forever!!!

First Fourth of July

Happy 4th of July Benjamin!! Your very first, all decked out in red, white, and blue!! You LOVED all of the decorations!

We are so excited we got to celebrate with the family on 4th Lake! We have many years of wonderful traditions to come...

New Kicks

Cousin Tommy had a special surprise for Baby Benjamin...his very first pair of Air Jordans!
Benjamin is stylin' now!
They're a little big but Benjamin knows cousin Tommy will teach him how to use them as he grows in to them! :)

Benjamin's Private Meeting

Amidst the chaos of our family gathering, Benjamin took time to sit down with his godparents, Aunt Anne Marie and Uncle Michael to discuss when he might have a cousin to play with......

*Sorry AM and Smook...I had to throw that in there when I saw this picture! :) It looks like Anne Marie is trying very hard to answer while Benjamin is trying to sell the idea using his enticing baby thighs! :) Don't you want one of these Godfadda???

Adirondacks 2009

Benjamin's first trip to the Adirondacks and our favorite 4th Lake was a huge hit! It was so much fun to see all of the family and to enjoy the beautiful mountains and lake. Benjamin was right at home in his Paul Bunyon outfit :) and his special jacket for the cool nights around the camp fire.
