Happy Five Months Old!!

My baby is FIVE months old today! On each of his "birthdays" I make sure I'm holding him at exactly 12:29pm...the very moment when we were first introduced to the love of our lives. He doesn't know it yet but Mommy and Daddy are so very proud of him.
We still remember his birth like it was only moments ago yet we have had 5 wonderful months with our little angel.
Happy birthday beautiful boy!

And he's outta here!! :)

Benjamin's First Memorial Day - Welcome Summer!

What a beautiful weekend in Raleigh! And we had so much fun enjoying the holiday with our Benjamin. We drove to the coast and basked in the perfect weather next to the water.
Mommy loved telling Benjamin about all the fun he will have when we teach him how to water ski, tube, and swim! We are having SO much fun with our little family!!! It's better than we ever thought possible!
We love you Benjamin and Stanford!
And then a quick stop at Eastern Carolina University to walk the campus and enjoy the sights. Benjamin even got to have his picture taken with the ECU Pirate! Arrrgh!

Iron Chef Benjamin

Benjamin loves to help Mommy in the kitchen!
His kitchen tool of choice is...the LADLE...the most amazing thing he's ever seen!

You can't argue with someone who has thighs that are that cute!
Benjamin says..."no soup for you!"

Benjamin's First Swim

Our little bathing beauty was ready for his first swim at the clubhouse pool.
He was in absolute heaven with Dadda and was a natural, kicking those little legs and splashing his arms. When Benjamin was in Mommy's belly he loved any time when Mommy was in the water - shower, pool, lake - and he loves it even more now that he gets to experience it firsthand.

We can't wait to spend more time in the water with Baby Benjamin this summer.

FIRST FOOD :)

It's time for Benjamin's first food (other than Mommy's nummies)
He's been staring at our plates long enough...bring on the rice cereal, carrots, and applesauce! :)
Our son definitely doesn't have any problems with knowing how to eat (surprise, surprise!)
1st feeding
Clean, yummy, and oh so easy! :)

2nd Feeding - Who said rice cereal doesn't taste good in your eyelashes too?!
Not so clean :), just as yummy, and ready for more!

Who said you have to walk before you learn how to use a laptop??

Our little computer genius decided to step in and do some of Dadda's work for him on Sunday morning. Benjamin was VERY helpful and got an A+ on all of his project management work!!!
